INDEPENDENCE, Missouri Tom Clancy, whose high-tech spy novels include ``Patriot Games,'' was given the Truman Good Neighbor Award for citizenship, patriotism, selfless service and courage. The award is named for President Harry Truman, a man who could have been cut from the pages of one of his novels, Clancy said as he, along with former President Gerald Ford, accepted the award Friday.
